This recruitment drive aims to fill 4,651 apprentice slots across 6 major clusters—Lucknow (LKO), Delhi (DLI), Firozpur (FZR), Moradabad (MB), Ambala (UMB), and Jammu—under Advertisement No. RRC/NR/03/2026/Act Apprentice.

How to Apply Online for RRC NR Apprentice Form 2026
- Visit the official website of Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway at rrcnr.org starting 11 November 2026.
- Click on “Engagement of Act Apprentice 2026–27 (Notice No. RRC/NR/03/2026)”.
- Click on “Apply Online” and register by filling in personal credentials (Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Email ID, Aadhaar Number).
- Log into your dashboard and select your preferred Cluster and Unit/Workshop.
- Enter your Class 10th aggregate marks and ITI trade percentage carefully.
- Upload scanned images of your passport photograph, signature, left-thumb impression, Class 10th marksheet, ITI certificate, and category certificate (if applicable).
- Pay the application fee of ₹100 online (General/OBC/EWS).
- Review your entries thoroughly, submit the form before 11 December 2026 (11:59 PM), and print the application summary for future reference.
RRC NR Apprentice 2026 – Selection Process
- Marks-Based Merit List Generation: No written examination or viva-voce will be conducted. Selection is based on a combined merit list prepared by taking the simple average of marks obtained in:
- {Merit Percentage} = {{Class 10th Aggregate Percentage} + {ITI Trade Percentage}}/{2}
- Tie-Breaking Criterion: If two candidates secure equal marks, the older candidate will be ranked higher. If dates of birth match, the candidate who passed Class 10th earlier will be preferred.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates from the merit list will be called for document verification at assigned cluster headquarters.
- Medical Fitness Assessment: Verified candidates must clear a medical examination conducted by Railway Medical Officers per prescribed standards before final engagement.
