Course‑wise Eligibility Details

Course Name Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor of Design (B.Des)
  • Candidates must have passed Class 12th from any recognized board (including NIOS), or hold a 3–4 year diploma or equivalent qualification approved by a recognized authority. Applicants must meet the prescribed age limit and be Indian citizens.
Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.)
  • Candidates must have passed Class 12th with Mathematics as a subject, or hold a 3–4 year Engineering Diploma from a recognized institution. Applicants must fulfill the required age criteria and be Indian citizens.
Master of Design (M.Des.)
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university, or a 3‑year Diploma from NIFT/NID. Applicants must meet the prescribed age limit and be Indian citizens.
Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M.)
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university, or a 3‑year Diploma from NIFT/NID. Applicants must fulfill the required age criteria and be Indian citizens.
Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech.)
  • Candidates must have completed B.F.Tech from NIFT or hold a B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognized university/institution. Applicants must satisfy the age requirements and be Indian citizens.
Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) – Artisan Category
  • Candidates must have passed Class 12th from a recognized board (including NIOS), or possess a 3–4 year Diploma/equivalent qualification. Additionally, applicants must have a valid Artisan Card. They must also meet the prescribed age limit and be Indian citizens.

How to Check & Download NTA NIFTEE Stage‑II Admit Card 2026

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA).
  • Step 2: On the homepage, click on “NIFT Entrance Exam Stage‑II Admit Card 2026” link.
  • Step 3: Enter your login details:
  • Application Number
  • Date of Birth / Password
  • Step 4: Click on Submit / Login.
  • Step 5: Your admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Step 6: Download the admit card or note down the details for reference.
  • 👉 Candidates must print a copy of the admit card and carry it to the exam centre on 26 April 2026, as it is a mandatory document for entry.

NTA NIFTEE Online Form 2026 : Mode of Selection

  • UG Programmes : For B.Des, candidates must appear in GAT, CAT, and Situation Test. The weightage is CAT 50%GAT 30%, and Situation Test 20%. For B.F.Tech, candidates only need to appear in GAT.
  • PG Programmes : For M.Des, candidates must appear in GAT, CAT, and a Personal Interview. For MFM and M.F.Tech, candidates must appear in GAT and a Personal Interview.
  • Marking Scheme : Each correct answer earns 1 mark, each wrong answer deducts 0.25 marks, and no marks are awarded for unattempted questions.
