Ø The Examinsation will consist of Computer Based Test, Skill Test, Physical Standard Test, Document Verification and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Ø All these Stages of the Examination are mandatory.

Exam Pattern :

Ø The Computer Based Test will consist of one paper with 100 Objective type Questions to be attempted in 90 Minutes.

Ø Section B, C & D will be set as Bilingual.

Ø Questions will be of Objective type Multiple choice type.

Ø There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each Wrong answer.

Ø Tentative Date of CBT: 22-28 Feb 2023.

Syllabus :

Hindi / English language

·         Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc.

General Intelligence

·         It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal type. Question will be asked from Verbal and Non-Verbal reasoning Semantic analogy, Symbolic operations, Symbolic / Number Analogy, Trends, Figural Analogy, Space orientation, Semantic classification, Venn diagram, Symbolic / Number Classification, Drawing inferences, Figural Classification, Punched hole / pattern folding & unfolding, Semantic series, Figural Pattern folding, Number Series, Embedded figures, Figural Series, Critical thinking, Problem Solving, Emotional Intelligence, Word building, Social Intelligence, Coding & decoding and Other subtopics

Quantitative Aptitude

·         Number Systems: Computation of Whole Number, Decimal and Fractions, Relationship between numbers.

·         Fundamental arithmetical operations: Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest (Simple and Compound), Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time and distance, Time and work.

·         Algebra: Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds (simple problems) and Graphs of Linear Equations.

·         Geometry: Familiarity with elementary geometric figures and facts:

·         Triangle and its various kinds of centers, Congruence, and similarity of triangles,

·         Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles.

·         Mensuration: Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square Base.

·         Trigonometry: Trigonometry, Trigonometric ratios, Complementary angles, Height, and distances (simple problems only).

·         Statistical Charts: Use of Tables and Graphs: Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar-diagram, Pie-chart.

General Aptitude

·         The questions in Clerical Aptitude will be set to test the candidate’s perceptual accuracy and aptitude. This is the ability to notice similarities and difference between the pairs of names and numbers.

Ø Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 WPM

Ø Transcription Time: 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on Computer.

HC Ministerial

Ø Hindi Typing with minimum Speed of 30 WPM on Computer.
