The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the notification for the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (BSTET / STET 2025) on its official website. The online application process for Bihar STET 2025 has already started from 19 September 2025, and the last date to submit the form has been extended to 05 October 2025. Candidates who are interested in applying for teaching positions in secondary and senior secondary schools across Bihar must complete the application process before the deadline. As per the notification, the minimum age limit for candidates is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 42 years as on 01 August 2025. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per government norms. Applicants are advised to check the official notification for detailed eligibility conditions, including educational qualifications and subject-wise requirements. For the Secondary Level (Paper I), candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) qualification. For the Senior Secondary Level (Paper II), a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with B.Ed. is mandatory. The application fee for General and OBC candidates is ₹960 for one paper, and ₹1440 for both papers. For SC, ST, and PH candidates, the fee is ₹760 for one paper and ₹1140 for both papers. The last date to pay the examination fee is also 05 October 2025. Interested candidates can apply online through the official BSEB portal. The process involves registration, filling in personal and educational details, uploading scanned documents, paying the application fee, and finally submitting the form. After submission, applicants should take a printout of the form for future reference. The admit card and exam dates will be announced later on the official website.
