- As per Indian Airforce rules, the age criteria for Medical Assistant Airmen Trade (Intake 01/2027) are as follows:
- Medical Assistant Trade (10+2):
- An unmarried candidate must be born between 01 January 2006 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
- Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy):
- An unmarried candidate must be born between 01 January 2003 and 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive).
- A married candidate must be born between 01 January 2003 and 01 January 2006 (both dates inclusive).
- Upper Age Limit: 21 Years

📌 Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- For candidates up to 21 years:
- 1.6 km run to be completed within 7 minutes.
- For candidates above 21 years (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy holders):
- 1.6 km run to be completed within 7 minutes 30 seconds.
📌 Medical Standards
- Height: Minimum 152.5 cms
- Chest Expansion (Cycling): Well proportioned and developed with minimum expansion of 5 cms
- Hearing: Normal hearing; able to hear forced whisper from 6 meters in each ear separately
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF
- Dental: Healthy gums, good set of teeth, and minimum 14 dental points
- Visual Standards:
- 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/9 each eye
- Maximum refractive error not exceeding +3.50D including Astigmatism

Pay & Allowances
- During Training: A stipend of approximately ₹14,600/- per month.
- After Training (Enrolled as Airmen):
- Pay Scale under Level 3 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
- Basic Pay: ₹26,900/- per month.
- In addition, candidates are entitled to Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹5,200/- per month.
- Other allowances such as Transport Allowance, Dearness Allowance, HRA, and Special Allowances as applicable.
